Thailand, Chiang Mai – from August 8, 2016 near by there I will be spending my voluntary service for 12 months. My task is to be an assistant English teacher in an elementary school.
I was very lucky to receive a „Weltwärts“-scholarship wich incorporates developmental projects and is given by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation. Eventually I ended up in Thailand through my organization „Hope for Life“.
I’ve been thinking a lot about doing this blog and I decided to do it not only to make it easier to my family and friends to follow my adventure but also to create a (hopefully) vivid and rich summary and memory about my time in Thailand.
Because I’ve been an exchange student after my tenth grade I’ll try to keep this blog in German and English.
I’ll spend my voluntary sevice in the north of Thailand close to the border to Myanmar.
